General information
Rocket 1 television meets as a year long class during 3rd hour taught by Mrs. Alicia Bloyd. Under her direction, the class is divided into 3 crews, the news crews, the live crew, and the creative crew. Over the course of the semester students rotate in and out of the three crews to give everyone a chance to work in all positions.
Announcement Crew Responsiblity
The people you see everyday on the television aren’t the only people who put Rocket 1 announcements together. About 10 students make up the studio crew that put together announcements each morning. The students rotate jobs a number of times during the week and could be working at any of these positions:
Talent
Camera Operator
Technical Director
Computer Generator
Audio Director
Director
The announcements are aired live at the beginning of 4th hour each day.

News Crew Resonsibility
Students are also assigned news stories, video productions, and commercials to work on when they are not in the studio. The students either work alone or in pairs to get the stories put together. They are then aired on Rocket 1 during announcements.
